OUR PROCESS
Our Berkshire Pigs experience nature the best way we can provide. During the more prosperous times of the year our Berkshire Pigs enjoy flush fields of mixed grasses, legumes, vegetables, fruits and nuts using our regenerative agriculture practices. During the barer times our Berkshire Pigs enjoy the fruits of our labor and get fed premium mixed grass hay and alfalfa, along with our controlled rotational grazing techniques and our own non-gmo feed mix that we feed daily. As of this year we grow, produce and mix almost all our own non-gmo feed and hay for our pigs to enjoy throughout the year.

Mixed Pasture

Rotational Grazing
During the barer times our Berkshire Pigs enjoy the fruits of our labor and get fed premium mixed grass hay and alfalfa, along with our controlled rotational grazing techniques and our own non-gmo feed mix that we feed daily.

Year-Round Farrowing
We Farrow year-round and, in all seasons, and weather conditions. We never separate our boars from our sows’ as we try to simulate nature as much as possible. We have found nature's way is the best.

Shelters & Confinement
We created own design for farrowing huts that give our sows area to themselves, while also providing shelter and comfort for the sows and piglets. Our Berkshire Pigs, (Sows, Boars and Piglets) spend their entire lives outdoors and never in any type of confinement area except for at weaning.

Weaning
Our Piglets are grazing and eating feed usually before 3 weeks old and the piglets are weaned and separated from their sows at 6 weeks of age. They are placed in their own large paddock area and trained on 2-rows of poly-braid electric wire for 1.5 to 2 weeks before ready for sale.
